Not that Bodie! Explore the "other" Bodie in northern Washington

When most people hear of the ghost town of Bodie, they think of the one in California. What is less-known is this one in Washington. Inhabited from the late 1800's through the 1940's, this small mining town produced over $1M in gold. From 1902 to 1911, the Wrigley brothers (of Chicago) owned the mine here. Today, there are eight buildings in various stages of decay. The town is easily accessible, split along both sides of Toroda Creek Rd. Heads up if you are headed that way....there is absolutely no cell coverage in the area. GPS Location: 48.8343079, -118.8969788
