Emerging Rapper Kuda Unveils Latest Single "Down There"

Music News

Kuda is a rising 21-year-old rapper from Raleigh, North Carolina, and he has just unveiled his latest single, "Down There". Since bursting on the scene a few years ago, Kuda has been going from strength to strength and riding an impressive wave of momentum through which his last single, "Low Low", accumulated over 1 million streams on Spotify alone as an independent artist, and he looks set to reach even greater heights with “Down There”.

With infectious melodies, personal lyrics and spacey synth-driven production, the track showcases just why Kuda has been such a hit with listeners so early on in his career. Taking the psychedelic and introspective style pioneered by the likes of Kanye West and Kid Cudi in a direction that is uniquely his own, Kuda invites listeners to get to know more about him through the song as he gives a sneak peek into his life.

Speaking further on the release, Kuda says, “‘Down There’ is a single about how far I've come. There was a time in my life where I was extremely concerned about what others thought about me, and I didn't believe in myself or my own view of the world. Nowadays I have built myself up in a lot of ways and I'm proud of that, and this song captures the confidence I have now where I trust my own views and ideas first when it’s a situation that pertains to only me because I know myself better than anyone else. It also gives you a peek into different stuff going on in my life, the party lifestyle, all that.”

“Down There” is out now on all platforms.
