We Didn't Pull ONE WEED This Year! Now We're Using Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats To Heal Our Soil!

#NigerianDwarfGoats #SoilHealth #permaculture For YEARS we were told that we NEEDED to invest in some really good Landscape Fabric to help us grow what we wanted to grow and still balance the rest of our farm without the chore of pulling weeds. I WISH I would have listened earlier! We pulled ZERO WEEDS this year and had the best crop yet! We know we should have invested years ago now. But now that we've pulled the landscape fabric and let the soil rest, we know we have to give something back to our soil after it's given us SO MUCH this year! SO we're using our Nigerian Dwarf Goats to heal and amend our garden soil!

A family of homesteaders in East Central Indiana. We want to break free of the Big Box Grocery Stores. We are striving to grow our own food on our little slice of paradise that started out as a retired corn field! We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Muscovy Ducks, meat and egg laying chickens, and turkeys! We love beekeeping for the benefits they provide us and neighboring gardens as pollinators and honey is just a sweet bonus! We garden in zone 5b in both raised garden beds and in ground gardens! Follow us on our journey and become apart of our Farmily!
