Saying Goodbye To The Herd Queen of Our Mini Dairy Goat Herd 😢🐐💔

We all have favorite on our farms. It doesn't matter how hard we try to remain impartial or unbiased... favorites arise. Dilly has been a fan favorite of MANY of our subscribers. She was the best herd queen, my first rescue goat, and the best grandma goat a goat farmer could ever ask for. She was one of a kind in every way. We loved her so much but life must balance with death and nothing is exempt from death. Today we said goodbye to Dilly the Herd Queen of our Goat Herd. She was so special, join me in saying goodbye and understanding why she was so special! Gett ready for a tearful episode.

A family of homesteaders in East Central Indiana. We want to break free of the Big Box Grocery Stores. We are striving to grow our own food on our little slice of paradise that started out as a retired corn field! We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Muscovy Ducks, meat and egg laying chickens, and turkeys! We love beekeeping for the benefits they provide us and neighboring gardens as pollinators and honey is just a sweet bonus! We garden in zone 5b in both raised garden beds and in ground gardens! Follow us on our journey and become apart of our Farmily!
