Microchipping our Nigerian Dwarf Goats & Preparing Goats For Linear Appraisals & Breeding Season
#homesteading #NigerianDwarfGoats #goatfarming Today we're taking steps to more concise and easy identification for our Mini Dairy Goat Herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Today we are microchipping our goats! This will help us to more easily identify them for buyers, shows, if they're stolen, or if they get lost and separated from our property! Not only that but we are getting our entire doe herd of goats ready for ADGA Linear Appraisals and breeding season that closely follows LAs! We love our goats and this new way to identify them is just to give us the best peace of mind we can have.

A family of homesteaders in East Central Indiana. We want to break free of the Big Box Grocery Stores. We are striving to grow our own food on our little slice of paradise that started out as a retired corn field! We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Muscovy Ducks, meat and egg laying chickens, and turkeys! We love beekeeping for the benefits they provide us and neighboring gardens as pollinators and honey is just a sweet bonus! We garden in zone 5b in both raised garden beds and in ground gardens! Follow us on our journey and become apart of our Farmily!
