#PredatorProblems #Homesteading #NigerianDwarfGoats The winter storm is done! The whole farm got through it and we're ready to dig out and get some fresh air into the barns! Winter can be so hard. The snow adds an extra element and obstacle to everyday chores but we can get through it with a little elbow grease! But even though the snow storm passed us by, the predators did not. We have a death on the farm and now I'm REALLY WORRIED about my Nigerian Dwarf Goats! What attacked our livestock? What can we do to prevent it? Livestock results in dead stock but that can still be a hard pill to swallow even with the most seasoned steward of livestock!

A family of homesteaders in East Central Indiana. We want to break free of the Big Box Grocery Stores. We are striving to grow our own food on our little slice of paradise that started out as a retired corn field! We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Muscovy Ducks, meat and egg laying chickens, and turkeys! We love beekeeping for the benefits they provide us and neighboring gardens as pollinators and honey is just a sweet bonus! We garden in zone 5b in both raised garden beds and in ground gardens! Follow us on our journey and become apart of our Farmily!
