Korean Food is gaining so much attention these days so I went to SOBAN to give it a try!!

Restaurant hunting is my favorite hobby in the vacations, and there is so much to try in Los Angeles. I went to SOBAN, which is a well-known place for Korean food. I had to convince my friends for a while because they are not into it, but they always listen to me, so it wasn’t quite a task.

The environment in the restaurant was pretty simple, and the staff was very friendly. Most of the tables were taken by Koreans over there. The first time I realized that LA has so many foreigners.

I asked the waitress to tell us which dish is the best one, and she suggested that the SOY-MARINATED RAW CRAB is the specialty here. So, we ordered that and also KIMCHI STEW. The staff was so helpful and decent. We had to wait for an hour as the house was full, but it was certainly more than usual.

Well, I am not too impressed by the food, and the hype wasn’t real. Maybe, these things are not according to my taste, but everything was just OKAY. Kimchi stew was good, but the soy-marinated crab was so ordinary. The place didn’t seem pricy initially, but after trying the food, the prices are too high.
