Eating at Mt. Fuji Restaurant and Visiting Mitsuwa

This week we finally got reservations for a restaurant called Mt. Fuji in upstate New York. Mt. Fuji restaurant is a hibachi steakhouse located in Hillburn, NY which is about a 40-minute drive north of New York City. It is located on a mountain that has a pretty nice view and is pretty come spring and cherry blossom season. I don't think you can walk in and get a table and booking reservations can be tough so definitely plan ahead. After lunch, we also take a trip to Mitsuwa in Fort Lee, NJ. We try to visit every so often. Mitsuwa is a Japanese grocery store that sells a lot of Japanese imported goods. It's a great place to wander if you miss Japan and want a taste. There are some great restaurants around and other shops you can explore. Mt. Fuji Restaurant: Mitsuwa:

We're Mr. and Mrs. K. We come from the great city of New York, hailing from the great borough of Queens. This channel came from our passion for exploring, traveling, photography, and food. We realized that with all of the stories and experiences we’ve accumulated from our travels, we couldn’t just keep them to ourselves, these things had to be shared. Not all exploration and travel require a plane, luggage, and a compass. Sometimes exploring your own backyard leads to a destination yet to be discovered.
