Located in Woodhaven, NY, Neir's Tavern opened its doors in 1829 and hasn't closed since. Dubbed "The Most Famous Bar You've Never Heard Of," and for good reason. As the oldest bar in Queens, NY and one of the older bars in NYC, Neir's Tavern has been a quintessential part of the community and has been featured in a few notable movies such as GoodFellas starring Robert Di Niro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci, as well as in Tower Heist starring Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller. Also visited and featured on Parts Unknown hosted by Anthony Bourdain, this establishment has quite the resume.
