‘There is a lot of uninformed talk’ – Marc Márquez

Motorcycle Sports

Marc Márquez’s season began in Portimão and since then there have been many echoes insisting that the spanish will never again be the same rider who has dominated the premier class since his arrival.

Talking about Marc Márquez is inevitable, both for his achievements and for his results, even when they are not satisfactory.

And the question of whether the rider is fit enough to fight for victories has been a recurring theme. And to that Marc Márquez is always open to respond.

Asked to comment on whether this podium in Aragon is a response to the voices trying to bring him down, the rider replied:

– There is a lot of uninformed talk [laughs]. Rather, it is part of the show and of this world. In the end, riders have to go their own way, like I do, and not let anything affect us. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes wrong and today I believe it went well. Could it have turned out really well? Yes, I would have been a hero but instead I was like “it went well”. I end up being pleased because I had a good race.
