Madison's highly anticipated EV Expo will return on April 19th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Sunday Motor Co. Café. This "Drive Electric Earth Day" event, sponsored by the Environmental Commissions of Madison, Chatham Borough, and Chatham Township, and in partnership with Sunday Motor Co. Café, will showcase the latest EV models from major car manufacturers. From Ford to Tesla, and BMW to Subaru, attendees will have the opportunity to see a range of electric vehicles, as well as Rutgers' solar-powered car and E-bicycles from Hilltop Bicycles. The event is free and open to the public.
On April 20th, the Green Home Energy Forum will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Madison Community Arts Center. This informative event will help residents learn about energy efficiency and sustainable strategies for their homes. Local experts will discuss solar panels, heat pumps, weatherproofing, and indoor air quality topics. Admission is free, but registration is required.
The Downtown Development Commission (DDC) will launch a total refresh of the former May Day event, now called Madison Green & Clean, on April 29th. This town-wide beautification day will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will feature eco-friendly initiatives. The day's activities will kick off with the annual Borough Arbor Day Celebration at 9:00 AM at the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building.
