See a dozen student artworks from middle and high schoolers around NJ who were awarded a spot on the 2023 Child Support Calendar from the Department of Human Services.

Every year the Department of Human Services honors 12 New Jersey high school and middle school students for their winning entries in the yearly New Jersey Child Support Teen Media Contest.

This year the contest asked students to depict, both in the written word and hand-drawn, how their families, friends, and loved ones are helping them to accomplish their dreams.

Teens enter the contest individually or through their school, and winners have their artworks displayed in the NJ Human Services Child Support Calendar published annually. 2022 winners will see their artwork in the 2023 calendar.

Local students displayed a wild amount of talent and creativity, but ultimately 12 winners were chosen to stand out among all the contestants.

Winners are chosen based upon their interpretation of the year’s theme: What is your dream and how are your parents/loved ones helping you get there?
