$1.8 million available for recreational trails in Morris County. All 39 municipalities in Morris County are eligible to apply. Apply today to capture some of these funds for Morristown!
Since 2016 the Morris County Board of Commissioners has allocated more than $4 million to build and enhance the growing network of local trails in Morris County.
The funds follow the public’s overwhelming vote in favor of dedicating a portion of the Morris County Preservation fund annually towards recreational trail development.
This year, nearly $1.8 million in grants for recreational trails will be available to Morris County’s 39 municipalities.
The 2022 Trail Construction Grant Program is currently open to applications. All municipalities in Morris County are qualified and encouraged to apply for funding.
