Orlando and the Greater Orlando area is expansive enough that you can always find something exciting to go see. July 2021 is no exception. From Lake Nona to Downtown Sanford, we’ve collected a highlight reel of all the art events you’ll want to attend next month.

Art After Dark Lake Nona

Art After Dark in Lake Nona is a weekly event in Lake Nona where attendees can immerse themselves in local art and tasty wine. This event is held every Friday night at the Lake Nona Town Center from 6pm to 9pm. It includes live demonstrations, exhibitions, music, and art displays.

This event will be held on each Friday during the month of July 2021, as usual and weather permitting. The first Friday of the month, July 2, 2021, will include a selection of food trucks for a variety of sweet and savory treats. Among the frequent pop-up vendors is Buds Flower Co., an adorable florist vendor with beautiful flowers to gift to yourself or your loved ones.

Thornton 2nd Thursday Wine & Art Walk

Thornton Park’s beloved and recurring art night, the 2nd Thursday Wine & Art Walk is returning in July with over 20 places to taste, shop, and enjoy. The event is made up of live music, art vendors, and spots to stop for wine.

You’ll start at Island Time where you can pick up your wine glass for the wine walk portion of the Wine & Art Walk.

Attendees can get a discount of $5 a person by purchasing their tickets in advance online. On the night of the event the ticket price will rise to $15 per person. This is a dog-friendly event.

Sanford Art & Jazz Night

Sanford Art & Jazz Night celebrates the arts community in the Sanford area every third Thursday of the month. This is a free reoccurring event held during the evening hours. Drop by to support local art, music, and independent businesses from the Sanford area.

The event is hosted in the Historic Downtown Sanford area and includes six participating locations that attendees can travel between. The usual hosts for this monthly event as noted on their Facebook are Hollerback’s Willow Tree Cafe, Deviant Wolfe Brewing, Magpies Modern General, Gallery On First, Reg Garner Gallery and Jeanine Taylor Folk Art.
