Wed-Venture Wedding Show by Mission Inn Resort

This event will be held on May 23, 2021, at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.

If you don’t mind a trek out to the corner of Greater Orlando then the Wed-Venture Wedding Shoe by Mission Inn Resort at the end of May could be a good stop on your wedding planning journey. This event is held at Mission Inn Resort and is meant to highlight the resort as a venue option. As with most venue-hosted wedding shows there will be numerous vendors happy to introduce you to their services. This makes this event a match even for couples who have already found their venue. Eat light before you head out, there will be light bites, signature cocktails, and desserts from both vendors and Mission Inn Resort.

Cost: $5 per person

Florida Bridal and Wedding Expo

This event will be held on May 22 and 23, 2021, at the Florida State Fairgrounds - Special Events Center.

With the Orlando wedding events in May being few and far between, you may want to plan a trip out to Tampa on May 22 or 23. This two-day wedding expos starts at 12:30 pm and ends at 5 pm each day. Attendees will have the chance to win giveaways and cash prizes. The last event featured dance lessons, photo sessions, luggage, and Champagne. Keep an eye on the prize and giveaways page for updates on what’s up for grabs at the May expo. There will also be dance and DJ demos as well as a fashion show to round out the afternoon.

While giveaways, cash prizes, and entertainment are good and all, you’re really there for the vendors. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend an event planning seminar conducted by a local company, have a free makeup trial performed at the glam bar, and wander through a nearly overwhelming number of exhibitors. You could probably plan your entire wedding right at this expo. From catering to photographers and invitations to honeymoon planning, this event has you covered pre-, during, and post-wedding.

If you do decide to make the trip out there (a roughly one hour and 15 minute trip from Downtown Orlando) then be sure to reserve your tickets in advance using the Florida Bridal and Wedding Expo website. Get your tickets in advance as capacity is limited.
