My day to day HAIR - CARE regimen

 Know your hair type - Every person has different hair, and it often needs to be treated and taken care of in different ways. Learn what type of hair you have in order to create the best possible hair care regimen. Mine is oily hair. But you may find out your hair type here:

• Oily

• Dry

• Normal

• Wavy

• Straight

• Curly

• Thick

• Fine

 Wash your hair when it is necessary - Many people believe that they need to wash their hair daily, but in truth most hair types only need to wash their hair every other day or a few times a week. Depending on your hair type, wash your hair when it's dirty, not just out of habit. I wash my hair everyday – because ofcourse a lot of oil content!

• Daily shampoo – Use a brand that suits you! This shampoo is technically used for regular washing, this shampoo may not need to be applied daily as the name suggests, but whenever your hair feels like it needs a good cleanse.

• Daily or rinse-out conditioner. The conditioner that you use the most is likely to be one that rinses out after a couple of minutes. It’s best applied to the middle and ends, as root application can result in a greasy-looking scalp.

 Moisturizing and sealing –

• Oil - When it comes to oil, a little goes a long way. Oil hair with coconut oil, or any oil that suits your hair, atleast twice a week and then give your scalp a good massage. You could leave the oil overnight or wash it after an hour or two – basically your choice!

 Hydrate and Eat Healthy :

• Your hair care routine is incomplete if your meals do not contain the foods that are essential for your hair health. There are a lot of supplements out there, if you know your food doesn’t have enough nutrition, consult a dermat, and start taking supplements – if that’s necessary !

• Also, drink 3-4 L of water everyday for better hair!
