A tree of wishes in Little Tokyo

I had an amazing day in Little Tokyo located in downtown Los Angeles. Besides great food and shopping, there was so much cool stuff to see. This is a wishing tree where people write their wishes and, well, affix them to the tree! I guess it is a tradition that is part of the annual Tanabata Festival. I didn't want to pry but my favorite wish was "for someone to know me for who I really am." If you're down that way stop by and make a wish...maybe it will come true!
