The organization was founded approximately 35 years ago and has been open throughout the pandemic. More than 120,000 kids have received services since Crisis Nursery first opened its doors.

Services for families in St. Charles County are provided free of charge and include:

  • 24-hour short-term childcare for kids in need
  • Art and play therapy
  • Family empowerment program

Missouri residents interested in supporting the Crisis Nursery can attend one of its fundraising events, such as the Razzle Dazzle Gala scheduled for October 23, 2021 or the upcoming Celebrity Night later this month. You can also donate to the organization by purchasing diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other items from its Amazon wish list. Crisis Nursery requests that all toy donations are for toys that do not promote violence.
