The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis is offering a free summer camp for kids during the weeks of June 28th to July 30, 2021. Campers must be between the ages of 6 and 14 to attend the camp, which is located at the Northwest Academy of Law in St. Louis.
Spots are limited, so make sure you enroll your kids ASAP if they want to participate. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and will include arts, sports and recreation, Triple Play, and Smart Moves. Breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge for all campers.
If you're concerned about the ongoing spread of COVID-19 in St. Louis County, keep in mind the summer camp will follow local safety protocols. This may include social distancing and the use of face masks during camp hours for campers as well as Boys and Girls Clubs staff.
This fun summer camp is sponsored by the city of St. Louis mayor's office. A flyer about the event was posted on the official Facebook page for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis.
Summer camp is also available at nearly a dozen other Boys and Girls Clubs in St. Louis County, including camps in the Hazelwood and Florissant areas. However, these other camps may require enrollment fees and other costs. You can potentially waive the enrollment fee if your child has Medicaid and requests a voucher. This is also true for summer camps at St. Charles County Boys and Girls Clubs, which was confirmed by a staff member.
