Treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder with Dialectical behavior therapy
Previously at Mint Message, we wrote an article talking about the personality disorder known as Borderline Personality Disorder - or BPD if you want to go with the shorter acronym for the illness - and how the condition can be associated with a lack of empathy. In fact, according to Dr. Brin Haas, the results of his study related to borderline personality disorder showed “ that people with BPD traits had reduced activity in brain regions that support empathy”. The active seemed to suggest, according to him and those who peer-reviewed his study, "that people with more BPD traits have a more difficult time understanding and/or predicting how others feel, at least compared to individuals with fewer BPD traits".

They reached a recent tentative deal with the city’s public school district yesterday on November 25th, 2023. This has ended a strike that has kept about forty-five thousand students out of class for more than three weeks in one of the largest districts in the state of Oregon. So, after about a month of this strike going on, it seems like this protest is finally coming to an end, and city officials will finally provide concessions to those who help to keep Portland’s educational system running.
