(WATCH) Minnesota Vikings Cut 5 Players To Get Down To 85-Man Roster Limits | Vikings News

The Minnesota Vikings got their roster down to the necessary 85-man limit today by cutting 5 players. DE Jordan Brailford, CB Amari Henderson, LS Turner Bernard, K Riley Pattersona and WR Blake Proehl were all released. Both Patterson and Proehl were waived/injured, meaning they will revert to injured reserve if they go unclaimed. Proehl was a camp standout before suffering a knee injury in joint practice with the Denver Broncos last week. This is the first of three roster cut downs during the 2021 NFL preseason.
