The 2022 Hancock County Fair is scheduled for August 31-September 5 at the Fairgrounds in Findlay. Highlights include the fifth annual HCAS Donkey Race Wednesday, August 31, at 7:00 p.m., in the North Grandstand, followed by the annual HCAS Team Volleyball Competition. Other highlights include the KOI Drag Racing Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the South Grandstand, the Demolition Derby Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the South Grandstand, the Truck and Tractor Pull at noon Sunday in the South Grandstand, and a concert by Southern Gospel group Soujourner at 7:30 p.m. in OMSC. The king and queen will be crowned at 7:00 p.m. after the opening ceremonies on August 30 at the Old Mill Stream Centre.

Tickets are free on Wednesday for veterans at the ticket booth, with proper admission. According to the fair website, daily admission is $10 for adults 18 and over and all children ages nine and older of the adult and may be purchased online. Daily tickets are $5 for children 10-17 and seniors 65 and over. On Thursday, tickets purchased before 3:00 p.m. may be purchased online for free, but are regular price after that. On Friday, tickets purchased online before 5 are $5, but the regular price after. Season passes are $30 for adults and $15 for youth.

Grandstand admission is $10 each for the KOI Drag Races, $5 each general admission to the Demolition Derby and $15 to the pit area, and $10 each to the Truck and Tractor Pull.

Other highlights of the fair include harness racing Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the South Grandstand, and the Hancock County Band Show at 7:00 p.m. the same day in the South Grandstand. On Thursday, there will be harness racing in the South Grandstand at 6:00 p.m. and a calf scramble at 7:30 p.m. in the North Grandstand. The Barrel Battle will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the North Grandstand, and singer Luke Rausch will perform

in the Mini Park at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday the Open Class Horse Team Pulls will be at 7:30 p.m. in the North Grandstand, and Hunter Hoop will perform in the Mini Park at 8:00 p.m.

In addition, the gospel pavilion will be open for entertainment all day, every day.
