(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Franklin Park, a popular bar and beer garden in Crown Heights, will welcome Pulitzer Prize-finalist Hernan Diaz for its monthly reading series, along with returning authors Isaac Fitzgerald, Megan Mayhew Bergman and Morgan Talty on Monday night at 8 p.m.

Diaz, whose novel "In the Distance" was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for fiction and the PEN/Faulkner Award, is celebrating his newest novel, "Trust," which was published in May. "Trust" has already been picked up by HBO to produce an adaptation starring Kate Winslet, according to Deadline.

Other authors scheduled to appear are Franklin Park Reading Series alums in Fitzgerald (Dirtbag, Massachusetts), Bergman (How Strange a Season) and debut author Talty (Night of the Living Rez).

Admission to the event is free, and there will be drink specials and a book raffle throughout the night. Copies of the books will also be available for purchase through indie bookseller Unnameable Books.

Franklin Park is located at 618 St. Johns Place between Franklin Avenue and Classon Avenue.
