Greene Hill Food Co-op opens doors to nonmembers this summer

(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Greene Hill Food Co-op, which serves the communities of Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights and beyond, is opening its doors to nonmembers for the summer.

The co-op offers fresh local produce and carefully-sourced foods for lower prices to its members, but they will be welcoming everyone through Labor Day to shop with no obligation to work or sign up.

Greene Hill also offers freshly baked breads, sustainable and organic dairy and meat, pantry staples, bulk nuts, grains and legumes and eco-friendly cleaning supplies.

The store, located at 1083 Fulton St., is open on Monday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday-Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
