Multiple stoop sales for Ukraine popping up in Prospect Heights this weekend
(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Several stoop sales will pop up this weekend in Prospect Heights, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Razom for Ukraine, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing direct aid to the people of Ukraine.
Members of the community can host stoop sales, bake sales and lemonade stands to help raise money, and applications to participate are still being accepted here.
Community members can also volunteer to help out or drop off items for sale. Some of the volunteer opportunities include social media promotion, hanging up flyers, chalking in the neighborhood and engaging neighborhood businesses.
Some of the stoop sales can be found at 205 Prospect Place (Sunday only), 419 Sterling Place, 53 6th Ave. and 727 Dean St. (Saturday only).
Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, works toward supporting the people of Ukraine in their continued quest for democracy and progress.
