Free poetry series returns to Art Cafe + Bar in Prospect Heights on Thursday

(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) The “There’s A Lot to Unpack Here” free poetry and storytelling series returns to Art Cafe + Bar on Thursday with a full slate of featured poets scheduled to perform.

Amy Palen, Anna Winham, Gabby Mancuso, Nyah Booker, Ousman Diallo, Opeyemi Ojo and Billy Pedlow are set to take the stage to read their original pieces.

This is the third installment of the monthly poetry show, which features a rotating lineup of readers who dig into what’s really going on in a poem. This month’s show is hosted by Cierra Martin and Allison Boenig.

Doors are at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Registration is encouraged but not required. Art Cafe + Bar is located at 884 Pacific St. in Prospect Heights.
