(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Dough Doughnuts is serving up a new menu item in its Kyiv cake doughnut, with all net proceeds from the Ukraine-inspired treat going to charities dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of the country.

Inspired by the Kyiv cake, a popular dessert in Ukraine, the doughnut features a brioche base filled with almond butter cream, a chocolate glaze and a crushed hazelnut and meringue topping.

All proceeds from the doughnut go toward Baranova 27, a charitable organization focused on providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and World Central Kitchen, another charity that provides fresh meals to the people in Ukraine and those who have fled the country.

The Kyiv cake doughnut can be found at Dough's Prospect Heights location at 646 Vanderbilt Ave. or any of the other Dough locations across the city.
