Candoco Dance Company to make New York City debut at BAM

(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Candoco Dance Company, a contemporary dance troupe of disabled and non-disabled dancers, will perform at the Brooklyn Academy of Music for its New York City debut on April 8 and 9.

They will be collaborating with Trisha Brown Dance Company to perform "Set and Reset/Reset," an updated version of Brown's original piece, "Set and Reset," to include dancers with disabilities. They will also perform "Face In" in collaboration with choreographer Yasmeen Godder.

Candoco Dance Company is the UK's first professional dance troupe dedicated to integrating disabled and non-disabled performers.

Tickets range from $20 to $55 and can be purchased here.
