(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) Brooklyn's own Amanda Serrano will make history on April 30 when she steps in the ring with Ireland's Katie Taylor to become the first women to headline a boxing event at Madison Square Garden.
ESPN ranks Taylor (19-0, 6 KOs) and Serrano (42-1-1, 30 KOs) numbers one and two, respectively, in its pound-for-pound rankings in December 2021.
The Bushwick High School grad is currently the featherweight unified champion and has accumulated nine major world titles across seven different weight classes throughout her career.
