DETROIT, MI - Michigan EIBC is excited to host their 9th Annual Michigan Energy Innovator Gala this year with Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II joining and celebrate their successes in the advanced energy industry as the keynote speaker. The gala will take place on September 14, 2021, at The Eastern from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This year, Michigan EIBC will celebrate and honor the individuals and businesses that have provided the opportunity for them to grow Michigan's advanced energy sector in 2021. The programs could only happen due to the supports from affiliated parties. Along with this event, they will continue to broaden their network with colleagues, policymakers, and industry makers who will be in attendance.
Throughout the gala, Michigan EIBC will present a couple of awards to honor Michigan's leading energy innovators. The nominations for the award are chosen by colleagues who are experts in the sector of advanced energy and then voted by the Michigan EIBC membership. The awards are divided into some categories, such as Project of the Year, Business of the Year, Public Official of the Year, and Energy Innovators Hall of Fame.
The event will be held both indoor and outdoor as a small portion of the program will be placed on the patio. Attendees of Gala are required to be fully vaccinated or provide proof where you are tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours due to ensure everyone's safety, including staff and the guests. During the event, all attendees are encouraged to wear masks.
