DETROIT, MI – Emerging Artists Corps. Art Fair will be celebrated this September 5, 2021, at Shed 5 of Eastern Market at 2934 Russell St., Detroit Michigan, 48207. Visitors can enjoy this fair for free.

Emerging Artists Corps. aims to expose equal opportunities for collaboration, engagement, and networking to emerging artists from middle school all the way through to college who isn’t operating on a professional scale.

It creates a curriculum where emerging artists can gain knowledge to build a profile that can be used by the organization to be considered for different roles, activities, and even jobs. The workshops start in August until January. The curriculum will culminate into an art fair, such as this September 5 fair.

The upcoming Art Fair is open for young artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries under the age of 30, who will display different mediums of art. Accepted art forms include photography, digital art, caricatures, visual art, culinary art, wearable art, music performance, or other forms subject to approval from the Project Director.

Artists were selected upon a series of paid applications and curation by an internal team. EAC artists from Tier 1: Young Artists were subject to a $45 participation fee, while it's $40 for Tier 2: Young Entrepreneurs and $20 Tier 3: Young Visionaries.

Non-EAC artists can also participate by paying a participation fee of $50 per space. Contact info@emergingartistscorps.com for questions.

The EAC and the Eastern Market will collaborate to ensure the safety of both artists and visitors, including enforcing socially distancing and regulating the traffic into Shed 5.
