Where to Find The Perfect Holiday Gift? It's in Downtown Lake Oswego!

Michelle Jaqua

I've been watching the news about how gift-giving will be a little more difficult this holiday season. With the pandemic causing delays in deliveries, and shortages of merchandise, it's time to go local and think out of the box for gifts this holiday season.

I've found the perfect place to find a unique gift made locally and help support our Lake Oswego artists. And it's in City Hall on the first floor, at the ARTSpace Gallery.

Until December 24th, the Art Space Gallery is holding its fifth annual Holiday Marketplace in their new permanent location at City Hall. The doors are open Tuesday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm for the Holiday Marketplace.

This year, the Marketplace features over 30 artists from the local and regional areas, filled with handmade work. You have your choice, including fine woodworking, ceramics, fine art, wearable textiles, handcrafted soaps and lotions, candles, jewelry, confections, and more!

This art event is the place to find items that will make great gifts, especially for loved ones who have just about everything or the workplace Christmas exchange.

Are you looking for some artisan soaps for an excellent spa package? Mad Sass Soap Company displays their handmade sugar scrubs, lotions, and body butters.

Find a unique ceramic piece through Culp Pottery or Ha Austin Ceramics, each with its own style.

Your purchase helps local artists thrive in their craft, and you'll leave the gallery with a unique gift that you'll love giving.

ARTSpace is located at 380 A Ave Suite A, Lake Oswego, OR 97034

Hours: T-F 10 am-5 pm, Sat 10 am-2 pm. Closed Sun-Mon.
