The Art Council of Lake Oswego is holding their annual Art Donation event this weekend in anticipation for their yearly fundraiser to be held in January, 2022.
The Art Council of Lake Oswego is holding their event at the Marylhurst Commons in the Old Bookstore location at: 3162 Furman Drive, Marylhurst, OR 97036; just off of Hwy 43 between Lake Oswego and West Linn.
Hours are: Thursday and Friday 10 to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, 10 to 4 p.m.
You can contribute artwork such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, ceramics, quilts, fiber art, photographs, posters, mixed media, and more! Collectors and curators will be there to assess your piece of donated art. They are looking for art in good condition, which is determined by the staff.
They will be unable to accept posters that are dated, or broken items/hanging clips on frames.
Artwork must be in decent shape and acceptable to the curators.
This is the time of year to clean out your old artwork in your home and office space to make way for fresh, new pieces of art you enjoy. You will be giving back to your art community, and keeping the city beautiful.
This event will follow OHA standards for COVID-19, so make sure to bring your mask and follow social distancing rules.
Mark your calendar for the ARTmart fundraiser event from January 7th-February 4th.
ARTmart will have its yearly art exhibition fundraiser at the Marylhurst campus with the items from this weekend's donation event.
Anything not sold in the January fundraiser will be donated to other nonprofit communities in the Portland area.
Stay tuned for more details!
