Forsyth County offers more information to voters ahead of Runoff Election

(Forsyth County) Advance Voting in Forsyth County begins in one week for the December 6 Runoff Election between incumbent Senator Rev. Raphael Warnock (D) and Herschel Walker (R). The race was forced to a runoff since neither candidate won 50 percent or more of the popular vote in the November 8 election.

Forsyth County elections officials want to remind voters of the places, times and tools available ahead of heading to the polls.

Four locations will be open for the Advance Voting period, which runs from Monday, November 28 through Friday December 2:

  • Voter Registrations & Elections Office (1201 Sawnee Drive)
  • Hampton Park Library (5345 Settingdown Road)
  • Midway Park Community Building (5100 Post Road)
  • Sharon Springs Park Community Park (1950 Sharon Road)

Forsyth County voters wishing to vote early may go to any of the above polling locations during Advanced Voting between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. This round of Advance Voting does not include a Saturday or Sunday to vote in person.

Throughout the week of Advance Voting, residents can check on estimated wait times at all Forsyth County locations by viewing a digital map updated by the Forsyth County Voter Registrations and Elections Department along with Geographic Information Systems.
