(Forsyth County, GA) The Cumming Farmers Market has set up shop at the Cumming City Center and is ready to open for business.

Opening day for the fall and winter season is Saturday, October 1 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Farmers Market will be located in the Vision Parkway parking lot, which is the first parking lot to the left after turning into the City Center entrance. Shoppers can park in available spaces in that parking lot or in the parallel parking spots located along Vision Parkway.

The Cumming Farmers Market, which relocated from the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot, will now be open year-round according to the following schedule:

  • Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. now through the end of May
  • Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. from June - September.

The Farmers Market will continue to offer a variety of fresh produce, locally raised meats, eggs, honey, homemade breads, desserts, jams and jellies from local vendors. Shoppers can also purchase potted plants, handmade arts and crafts, and more from local artisans.

For more information about the Cumming Farmers Market, visit its Facebook page.

Due to the ongoing construction at City Center, patrons must stay in the Farmers Market area. The Lou Sobh Amphitheater, putting course and Main Street area are off limits.

The Cumming City Center is located off Canton Highway just west of Downtown Cumming. For more information on the venue, including what restaurants and retail shops have already signed lease agreements, visit its website.
