Hiking tends to be easier at some places where you can relax and enjoy the scenic beauty around you, however, it can also be tough at some places where you can receive a proper workout, of course largely depending on the nature of the trail.
Recently I hiked on this magnificent trail, Mishe Mokwa Trail. The Mishe Mokwa Trail takes you to Sandstone Peak and Tri-Peaks through an extremely challenging path.
The Mishe Mokwa Trail is 10.9 kilometers long and is rated as moderate; however, I confess that I have done quite a few moderately rated trails; this one was the toughest.
It is a beautiful, well-maintained trail providing scenic views of the Santa Monica Mountains. Add to it the views from Tri peaks and sandstorm peaks; the views get even better.
Moreover, one of the best parts about this trail is its challenging nature with breathtaking views. It is one of those rare few trails that provides a challenging course along with scintillating views to keep you and your motivation intact.
The trail offers numerous options for activities and is accessible year-round. So all and all, if you are looking for an excellent trail providing a great workout and scintillating views of the Santa Monica Mountains, Tri peak, and sandstorm peaks, then I reckon Mishe Mokwa trail is the one to go for.
