Passenger Coffee was, not too long ago named the best coffee shop, not only in Lancaster but in all of Pennsylvania. Located in the heart of the city, it's easily accessible and easy to find. Their West King Street location features minimalist designs and a coffee menu with a handful of selections and small bites such as biscuits and cookies.
As a minimalist, this is one of my all-time favorite coffee shops.

Square One Coffee
Square One Coffee not only serve high-quality coffee, but are also an award-winning micro-roaster.
The family-owned business on North Duke Street has been around for 16 years. Their cafe in Lancaster occupies a beautiful, renovated townhouse where they offer a wide array of coffee drinks, and also carry local pastries and bagels from several local bakers as well as a few light fare options.

The owners at New Holland Coffee Company believe that a great day starts with a great cup of coffee, and I agree 100% with that. Their New Holland location is cozy and welcoming.
New Holland Coffee Company has been around since 2005 and they currently have three locations in the county. As in-house coffee roasters, they've garnered a reputation for good taste and quality.
