There hasn't been a ton of snow in Lancaster County this year. The winter isn't slipping away from us quite yet, though. If you like action-packed winter fun, there are a handful of ski resorts within a doable day trip from Lancaster, PA.

Roundtop Mountain Resort
Roundtop Mountain Resort is a large winter sports complex in neighboring York County. Roundtop has been around for over 50 years and welcomes guests for skiing and riding on 21 trails with 9 lifts, as well as snow tubing, zip lines, paintball, summer camps, and many more family friendly activities.

Bear Creek Ski and Recreation Area
Bear Creek is a ski resort in Longswamp Township, Berks County. The resort opened in 1967 and was known as the Doe Mountain until 1999. With the mountains at its doorstep, you can bike, ski, hike, and explore our 330 wooded acres, or admire the views.

Spring Mountain Adventures
Spring Mountain Adventures is a year-round outdoor activity center hosting biking, zip-lining, snow sports, and much more. They offer several specials, such as Ladies' Day Thursdays with $25 lift tickets, and Men's Mondays, also with lift tickets for $25.

Blue Mountain Resort
Blue Mountain Resort is an outdoor adventure destination located in the Poconos. The resort area is best known for skiing and snowboarding, but is also home to the largest Snow Tubing Park in the United States - and the longest and fastest lanes in Pennsylvania.
