Root's Market & Auction, among locals known simply as Roots is the oldest single family-run country market in the county. From a humble start as a poultry auction in 1925, they now offer an enormous variety of everything from fresh produce and baked goods, gems, antiques and plenty of second-hand items. Green Dragon Farmer's Market & Auction
Since its start in 1932, Green Dragon has grown to become one of the largest flea markets on the East Coast. The 60-acre spot is filled with everything from fresh vegetables and Amish-style baked goods to gems and second-hand treasures. If you're looking for a good deal, odds are you'll find it here.
Green Market is only open on Fridays, and it's smart to bring cash. Not all vendors accept cards.
