Can you imagine anything worse than a dry gluten-free dessert? Thankfully, I haven't experienced that in Lancaster, PA. Bakeries around here know how to dish up delicious gluten-free desserts, three of them which you can read about below:

Amaranth Bakery

All of the products served at Amaranth Bakery are made in a 100% dedicated gluten-free facility. They serve both sweet and savory baked goods. If you're unsure about what to go with, their cookie sample pack is a good choice: It includes their hot chocolate flavor, raspberry thumbprints, and peanut butter blossoms. They also bake bread daily, and you can pick from some of the following varieties: four seeds, sunflower honey, maple oat, and cinnamon raisin. Three days each week you can also find them at their stand at Central Market!

Address: 614 4th St, Lancaster, PA 17603 and at Lancaster Central Market

Made With Love Not Gluten Bakery

Made With Love Not Gluten Bakery is all gluten-free as well. The owner, Jennifer, opened the bakery in Mount Joy after being diagnosed with Celiac disease. She wanted those with gluten intolerance to be able to find delicious baked goods, so she began developing gluten-free versions of the recipes her Grandma gave her. Here, you'll get pastries, cupcakes, and there's even a cake menu. Red velvet, coconut, marble, chocolate are only a handful of the wide array of options you have.

Address: 76 E Main St, Mount Joy, PA 17552

Lancaster Cupcake

Lancaster Cupcake is a local staple in the dessert scene, and they have an impressive selection of gluten-free cupcakes, such as salted caramel, peanut butter fudge, and mint chocolate chip. Their ice cream is also delicious, and gluten-free. You can find Lancaster Cupcake in the heart of the city and along Granite Run Drive.

Address: 260 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 and 24 W Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17603
