Game-day is almost here! In the Super Bowl LVI, we'll see NFC's Los Angeles Rams and the AFC's Cincinnati Bengals meet in Los Angeles to play the biggest game of the season. If you're hosting a party, here are two quick and easy appetizers you and your friends hopefully will love.
Is it even possible to have a football party without wings? I haven't tried. This recipe is a little different though, as it is actually made in a crockpot, making it super easy.
The ingredients you need for these Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Wings are: Hot Pepper sauce (12 oz.),
Worcestershire sauce (2 tsp), butter (1/2 stick), oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and the main ingredient, frozen chicken wings sections, thawed.
In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients except the chicken to a boil. Once boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Place the chicken wings in a slow cooker and cover with the sauce mix. Cook wings on high for two hours, and then on low for two more hours.
Then you preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Transfer the wings to prepared baking sheets and cook for half an hour. While the wings are baking, melt 1/2 cup of butter and 1 bottle of hot sauce in a pan. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Brush this sauce on the wings right before serving. So good!

Sweet and savory flatbread bites
These are fun because you can be creative when it comes to toppings. But first, the dough.
You'll need the following:
- 16 oz all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- About 1 1/2 - 2 cups lukewarm water
Start by mixing the flour, yeast, and salt. Then you pour lukewarm water into the bowl and carefully mix it into the dry ingredients. Fill the bowl until it has just that right and firm consistency.
Roll out the dough on parchment paper. The recipe should be enough for two thin flatbreads covering the sheet. Then, you add toppings of your preference.
You can do desert flatbreads with marshmallows, chocolate, and honey, or you can do a barbecue one meatballs, spinach, onions, and bbq sauce.
One I enjoy is made with the following: Sliced green apple, cashews, honey, and mozzarella cheese.
Once you've filled the flatbread with toppings, bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10-15 minutes in the oven, until the cheese is slightly brown. Slice them up, and serve, preferably with a dip on the side.
