I’ve been talking to a lot of folks over the past year, virtually of course, and it seems many of them are finding themselves experiencing a really bad case of cabin fever.

If you’re stuck in the house due to this current global crisis, don’t give up just yet.

As it turns out, there are tons of fun and interesting things you can do to make the most of your time whenever you find yourself stuck at home.

I’ve been collecting resources for several months now and I’ve compiled them in a list for you below.

As an experienced writer I know that many times stress can wreak havoc on your writing routine.

Sometimes it helps to just take a little time to distract yourself from whatever it is that’s bothering you and have some fun.

Feed your artistic side

It’s a streaming service full of Broadway musicals you’ll love. After the trial the subscription is under $10 so not too bad if you want to keep it.

The Metropolitan Opera is offering free streams of a wide variety of shows. Check the website for the schedule and feed your artistic side.

They also have some offerings children can enjoy. Be sure to check it out.

Bob Ross Painting videos just be just what you need to take your mind off the outside world while you are stuck at home. With his soothing voice and positive vibe, doom and gloom don’t stand a chance.

Set up an easel and grab a paintbrush and learn from the master the best way to turn happy little accidents into art that make the world a little more happy and beautiful.

Build your skillset

Great for writers and educators and anyone who simply loves to read.

Nourish your adventurous side with virtual tours

The Palace of Versailles has a fascinating history which began in the early 1600s.

Watch videos the about the development of this fascinating French architecture before and after the French revolution. It’s the next best thing to being there.
