Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area

I can't believe that I've never known about this park after living in LA for so long! It's a huge urban oasis in the heart of the city. Once you drove passed the gate, we can see a few huge park lots in the park. A large pond and a beautiful river stream welcome the visitors right across from parking. Surrounding the soothing streams, a well maintained Japanese garden is there to provide picnic and play ground for the whole family. At the end of the stream, there is a fantastic mini waterfall. It's a such picturesque scene. You can walk jog run and even ride your bike in here too, also clean restrooms. This park is dog friendly a few kids playground area, a lot of picnic tables, it also has a baseball and soccer field, a volleyball course, a fitness course, a community center, a disc golf course, plus a hiking trail bridge that you can hike from Los Angeles to Culver City Baldwin hills overlook stairs. What i really...really love about this place is the spectacular lovely view, from the mountains of Hollwood to the ocean that Palos Verde sits on, 360 degree of beautiful landscaping. If someday you get to be here, make the most of it!
