This place exceeded my expectations. These bagels are definitely worth the wait! They use fresh, quality ingredients, but the actual bagel is what really makes it special. Their bagels have a nice crust on outside while still being light, soft & chewy in the inside; not dense or doughy like most traditional bagels. My favorite is the Hand Sliced Smoked Salmon bagel on the everything bagel without capers! The tomato adds a nice acidity, red onions a good crunch & dill freshness, finished with olive oil, salt & pepper. Truly the perfect bagel! If you want an extra crunch, get the burnt everything bagel, but it does border bitter sometimes. However, I like the extra crunch & texture that it adds to the Wild Alaskan Salmon Roe Bagel! The roe are soft & when they burst, add a pleasant sweet & salty element to the rich cream cheese & fresh dill, absolute favorite! Run it through bage is a unique, oddly satisfying vegetarian combination, but I guarantee that you'll find yourself going in for another bite! The prices are a little steep for bagels, but these aren't your average lox bagels. Also, I wouldn't be eating this everyday but I can justify going here every month or so!
