Work from home as we now call it has become quiet new and popular norm for us. These past couple of weeks I have tried cultivating various activities in this monotonous routine which has helped me focus, kept me sane and got me through my day. Here’s a few changes you could do as well:
1. Wake up – MAKE YOUR BED.
I know you are wondering that all day I’ll be at home anyways so what difference does it make. It does make a huge difference, it makes you feel ACTIVE! And that’s your GOAL!
2. JOURNALLING/ SCHEDULING YOUR DAY
Try keeping a journal or even a notebook and as soon as you wake up, spend about 10 minutes of your time only to figure out what are the tasks you want to complete. It could be anything cooking, washing your clothes, meditation ANYTHING! Also there’s nothing more satisfying than ticking off the tasks completed at the end of the day
Breakfast simply energizes me, boosts my mood and also allows my brain to function which is basically the most important quality you need while working from home. If you are lazy like me, you could do this simple go-to recipe that I have listed down below:
• Banana/ apple
• Cocoa powder (Optional)
• Nut butter (optional
• Mix and you are done!
4. MEDITATE / READ
When you practice meditation or let alone read for 10-15 minutes it contributes to a happier, healthier and more productive self.
Scheduling your workouts while working from home could be harder than you can imagine, but you know always remember “Where there’s a will, There’s a way”. Workout for 30 minutes a day and you are good to go- a happy soul and mind!
6. DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE
Do something that gets you going, for example baking, dancing, singing out loud, watch your favorite sitcom, ANYTHING!! That basically energizes you, calms your soul and brings peace to your mind.
7. FOMO- FEAR OF MISSING OUT
Lack of interaction can definitely make you feel sad and anxious. To bring back the normalcy in your life call your loved ones, your friends, family, anyone with whom you could talk anything and everything!
