And Do Good: The Alexander // The Alexander served as a satellite kitchen for Second Helpings and offered free accommodations for Indianapolis-area medical workers, including doctors, nurses, and first responders. The CityWay located property offered extended-stay one-bedroom studios which include a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher, all of which was paid for by the Buckingham Foundation through the end of April. “Buckingham Foundation initiated this mission to give back to the local medical community after considering the physical and mental strain experienced by these heroes who are altruistically serving those affected by the COVID-19 crisis,” said Barry Cockrum, general manager of The Alexander. “We are honored to offer this support, while continuing to serve as a Satellite Kitchen for Second Helpings.”
