DA Fani Willis has promised transparency in Trump’s trial for conspiracy and other charges relating to his and 19 co-defendants attempts to influence the 2020 election results In Georgia.

What better way than by airing the entire proceeding on Live TV? This could potentially be the most chaotic trial of our lifetime.

In other high-profile on-TV trials, trial groupies stalked the attorneys and sent them explicit death threats. One expert witness checked into the emergency room because of stress. Other witnesses refused to testify at all, leaving jurors without information that very well could have changed the outcome of the trial.

Trump’s trial will add another potentially dangerous element to that mix - outrageously polarized politics. We’ve already seen the January 6 insurrection and the attacks on FBI offices, the threats against the federal judge in DC assigned to Trump’s federal election-interference case.

The Georgia state legislature is hoping to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who brought the Trump conspiracy case, under a law passed just for that purpose.

An organization that describes itself and its members as a force for social justice and political progress, MoveOn.org is already asking for extraordinary donations so that they may purchase ‘hard-hitting TV ads nationwide’ during the televised trial.

Their stated goal is to combat MAGA’s baseless lies, educate the electorate about Trump’s crimes and show voters what role other leading Republicans have played in enabling Trump’s crimes and corruption.

There is no doubt, conservative organizations are also gearing up to launch a full-frontal TV blitz in support of Trump and his MAGA base.

With DA Willis bringing more than 150 witnesses, 19 defendants and their attorneys, plus the media, bloggers and social media warriors, and with organizations on both sides promising a blitz of national ads, how uninfluenced can the audience, the electorate, really remain?
