Trump's Georgia Case: 68% Want Resolution Before 2024

Results from recent poll conducted by Morning Consult revealed that out of 1,999 voters surveyed, 68% say it is important that a verdict is reached in Georgia's Fulton County against Trump before Election Day, including 46% who said it is “very important.”

The data was published the day before Trump is expected to turn himself in to authorities in an Atlanta courthouse. Trump's legal counsel recently requested a delay on the Dept. of Justice's case against him for the events that transpired on Jan. 6, but federal prosectuors rejected the request.

According to the same Morning Consult poll, 52% of voters approve of the Georgia grand jury’s decision to indict Trump, matching public support for both of his federal indictments.
