Located in Orange County, Santa Ana is one of the best places to live in the entire state of California. Close to Los Angeles and many other major cities, it's no wonder why so many people choose to call it home. Here's a list of several famous people who have lived in the city of Santa Ana:

Jesse Ruíz

Ruz, the eldest of six children, was born and raised by Mexican immigrants in Santa Ana, California. He started wrestling in his sophomore year at Santa Ana Valley High School, and at the national state high school championships, he finished seventh in the heavyweight class. Ruz continued his athletic career after enrolling at Santa Ana College, where he won two All-American titles in 2003 and 2004.

Michael B. Jordan

Michael Bakari Jordan is a filmmaker and actor. He is most known for his appearances in Ryan Coogler's films Fruitvale Station (2013), Creed (2015), and Black Panther (2018), in which he played shooting survivor Oscar Grant, boxer Donnie Creed, and Erik Killmonger. Jordan reprised his role as Creed in Creed II (2018) and is expected to star in Creed III, as well as direct it (2022).

In 2010, he appeared as a boxer in the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Inhumane Society" as a boxer embroiled in a dog-fighting controversy inspired by Michael Vick. The same year, he landed a recurring appearance as Alex (Haddie Braverman's love interest) on the NBC show Parenthood.

Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is a violinist, songwriter, and dancer from the United States. On her official YouTube channel, which she started in 2007, she performs choreographed violin performances in live and music videos.

Stirling plays a wide range of musical genres, including classical, punk, rock, and electronic dance music. Aside from her own work, she has a discography that includes covers of other artists' songs as well as soundtracks. Her music video "Crystallize" was the eighth most popular on YouTube in 2012, and her cover of "Radioactive" with Pentatonix received Response of the Year at the first YouTube Music Awards in 2013. By August 2014, Stirling had sold one million singles worldwide.

Santa Ana is an incredible city that's been home to countless amounts of famous people over the past few decades. And hopefully, it'll continue to produce many more well known and respected names in the future.
