Bellevue is one of the most incredible places in the entire country. And you don't need to be a genius to recognize that. After all, there's so much beautiful scenery nearby.

In my opinion, it's one of the most amazing places in the world. And clearly, I'm not the only one who thinks that. Here's a list of several famous people who call Bellevue home:

Bill Gates

He's probably one of the most admired people in the country. William Henry Gates III is an American business magnate, software developer, businessman, author, and philanthropist who was born on October 28, 1955. He is a Microsoft Corporation co-founder. During his time at Microsoft, Gates served as chairman, CEO, president, and chief software architect, as well as becoming the company's biggest individual shareholder until May 2014.

He is regarded as one of the most well-known entrepreneurs of the 1970s and 1980s microcomputer movement. The family's home in Medina is a mansion on the edge of a hill with a view of Lake Washington (near Bellevue).

Jeff Bezos

Jeffrey Preston Bezos is an American entrepreneur, media owner, and businessman who was born on January 12, 1964. Bezos is the chairman and CEO of Amazon, a multibillion-dollar technology firm. According to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, he is also recognized as one of the world's wealthiest individuals.

In the year 2000, Bezos created Blue Origin, an aerospace manufacturer and provider of suborbital spaceflight services. In 2015, Blue Origin's New Shepard spacecraft successfully launched into orbit and returned to Earth. The corporation has plans to launch commercial suborbital human spaceflight in the near future. He also owns the large American newspaper The Washington Post, which he bought for $250 million in 2013, and his Bezos Expeditions venture capital group oversees a number of other investments.

Colleen Willoughby

Colleen S. Willoughby is an American philanthropist who is credited with inventing the giving circle concept of collective giving grantmaking. She is the current head of Global Women Partners in Philanthropy and the founder and past president of the Washington Women's Foundation.

Bellevue is an inspiring city in Washington that has produced countless amounts of famous and wealthy people who have impacted the world in a meaningful way. Let's hope that in the future, Bellevue can continue its streak of greatness!
